Week 42

Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project

Theme: "Brick"

This is a blog circle!

If you scroll down to the bottom of this post and click the link, it will take you to the next very talented Pet Photographer. Keep going until you land back here and you will have come full circle!

This weeks theme is "Brick" and all I can hear running through my head is "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house down". But you see the third little pig builds a house of bricks....

Our Shelter is mostly brick so I thought I would have an easy time this week. I am by no means complaining, BUT, we are having the best, sunny, true-blue sky weather ever! Not so great when you are photographing dogs near mid day. I did find a little spot tucked away near one of the entrances and my fav senior Mozart was happy to indulge me. I need this old boy to get adopted soon. He is beyond sweet. His is a sad story. He and his Puggle brother Beethoven were owner surrendered last fall when the owner was unable to continue to care for them. Their behavioral assessment concluded they weren't dependent on each other and were adopted out separately to different homes. Mozart's didn't seem to be his forever as he was found as a stray recently and no-one came looking for him. He's 10 and just the sweetest. Nothing would make me happier than to see him go to a loving home 😊

Doesn't the brick backdrop accentuate his coat color & cute underbite!!

Continue on to Rochelle from Dark Sapphire Pet Photography, Nelson, New Zealand to see more examples of pets + brick.

Until next week, or based on my recent history, the week after that!

Aww Mozart, What a sweet boy. It breaks my heart seeing older dogs in shelters when they should be at home being pampered. Good Luck little man!
