Week 10

Pet Photography 52 Weeks Project

Theme: "Patterns"

Each week a group of professional pet photographers band together & challenge themselves to create new images based on a common theme. These images are then shared in each photographers blog (on Fridays). A "blog circle." is formed as each photographer links to another member's blog at the bottom of their post. If you love looking at beautiful pet photographs be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this post and click the link to take you to the next very talented photographer. Keep going until you land back here and you will have come full circle!

I cannot believe this is week 10 already! Our theme this week is "Patterns".

Patterns are everywhere! In both natural forms & man made environments. You just have to look for them! Despite that statement, this week's assignment was really really tough! Recognizing the pattern is one thing, but using it effectively with your subject is tricky. Both inside and out this week my eyes were constantly scanning and searching for patterns. Just the act of looking for patterns definitely makes you see things from a different perspective.

Poor teddy was so stressed out by this adventure it upset his stomach for days! I'm actually working on teaching both our dogs the phrase "want to take some pictures?" to prevent the anxiety that seems to happen when we are going to new places. I wanted to try going back to this spot again but Teddy's stomach was making really loud gurgle noises. Poor Teddy. He seems to be doing ok now.

Follow along with me as we see the patterns captured by Kelly of  Kelly Garin Photography, Columbia, SC

Until next week,

Linda

Great idea in that first image - perfect! Sorry to hear Teddy was so stressed. I know how that goes - I have to do most most of my photos with Kota close to home and in familiar places.

I LOVE that first image. That's a brilliant take on patterns. Poor Teddy. Hope he recovered quickly.
