In Chinese astrology, each year is related to a Chinese zodiac animal according to their 12-year cycle. 2018 is a Year of the Dog! Quite surprised that I was not born in the year of the dog. Missed it by 9 months. It doesn't really matter because for me every year is the year of the dog. I have always had a thing for dogs but I didn't realize just how much until I started volunteering at the shelter. It sounds cliché, but I really do love them all.
I love this itsy bitsy, teeny tiny elfin boy
and this ginormous girl with the Elvis lip.
This happy go lucky boy despite his circumstances at the time.
All of the playful puppies I get to meet. I even love the very hard cases.
The goofy boys like Smuckers.
and the gorgeous little girls like Meka.
Today, February 16th 2018 marks the beginning of The Year of the Dog. Dogs are considered as our best animal friends. Loyal, friendly, and kind. People born under the sign of the dog are said to share those traits. As well as being honest, easygoing, and helpful to others. A good reason to celebrate them (AND DOGS) every day this year!
Lets see how others are celebrating the Year of the Dog. Up next is Mikahla Dorey, Pet Photographer in Nova Scotia Canada
