"and all at once summer collapsed into fall."

Oscar Wilde

Week 40 (yes, 40!) and our theme of "Orange" is very befitting, as Fall is definitely upon us. Autumn is probably my favorite season, although ask me again in Spring time and I might waffle a little. It makes me think of early sunsets, big sweaters, bonfires and of course, the color orange.  When I went to the shelter on Tuesday I already had a few ideas floating around in my head for this week but that all went out the window as the color Orange seemed to be everywhere!

  • Loads of Orange dogs!! I photographed at least 5 this week! It was a sign (as I missed last week)...
  • There is already the beginnings of an orange blanket of leaves gracing the trails!
  • And the shelter staff, embracing all things fall have begun to decorate and adorn kennels in fall colors. See for yourself!

Orange dog #1, Beautiful senior girl, Jocelyn

Orange dog #2, Heidi, the Bagel 😉

Orange dog #3, Petite senior Poppy

Orange leaves a plenty! Amelia who's eyes are also orange-y

And finally, orange blankets in the kennels. Sweetie pie Mozart. Look at his adorable tooth's!

Orange you glad you stopped by 😜😜😜

Next, lets see how Elaine incorporated orange in her images over at I Got the Shot Pet Photography, serving Northeastern PA and surrounding areas.

Hope to see you next week,

These are all wonderful images! I love Heidi's orange eyes and Mozart is the cutest!!! He looks perfect on that orange blanket! Great job!
Oh Mozart- how could anyone resist you! Amelias eyes are stunning!
Jocelyn and Amelia are gorgeous! And I do love Mozart's cute little teeth. I am certain these three (and the rest) are going to get adopted quickly!
